Aaaaragh a mouse in the house bookmark....

ok so the title should be short and sweet but the amount of people scared of these little squeekers I couldn't help it... mice don't bother me at all though.

A couple of years ago (before I was into rubberstamping) someone sent me an envelope full of lots of rubberstamped images. I've used a lot of them but some I didn't want to use as I liked them a lot but you have to part with these things sometimes....
I choose a dark green card for this as it went well with the brown paper the mouse had been stamped on. I used mulberry paper to make 2 lined borders...

I then tore ever so carefully around the mouse, stuck him on and then hammered gold, white and black eyelets....

I finished it off with a hand drawn border, coloured the mouse in and wrote 'erm...would you like some eggs?' because...
on the back there is an angry look cat asking 'Where do you think your going?'

I first covered the back of the card with mulberry paper...

I then mounted the cat on to gold paper and added little stars where the eyelet holes are...

Please kitty don't eat this cute little mouse!
